VOSC 2025 Summer Edition (sept 3-5, 2025)
(Fully booked)

Due to its nature, the VOSC prioritizes the limited spots in the course for ophthalmology residents in training within official residency programs. Due to the high demand for the course, this year a special ‘Summer Edition’ will also be offered in September (3-5/9/2025).

The travel dates and arrangement will be as for the standard VOSC edition that is normally held every year in May, meaning group transport will be arranged from and to Madrid airport on September 2 and 6, respectively. The course syllabus has been slightly modified to adapt to the working hours of the center during the month of September (see below).

Accommodation includes individual rooms with bed and breakfast in a local four star hotel (Barceló Cáceres V Centenario) rather than at the center. Daily group transport between the hotel and the Center at the start and at the conclusion of each day of the course will be provided.

Lunches will be held at the center for course attendees during the course days. An ‘end of the course group dinner’ will be provided for the participants and the lecturers. The rest of the practical information about the course remains the same.

Pre-recorded lectures (online, available after successful application)
  • Eyelid instrument selection and magnification (RS) (39 min)
  • Microsurgical instrument selection, magnification (RS) (47 min)
